While US Secretary of State Blinken is visiting China and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen – US President Biden’s subordinate – is visiting Africa, both with the aim of paving the way for a new escalation of the imperialist war between the US and Russia, Denmark is slowly but surely changing from a so-called welfare state to a military war state with a government that has both started a social war against the working class and the youth and an unprecedented three-digit billion Danish military rearmament.

At the sound of the propaganda war drums with the slogan to „save“ Danish welfare, democracy and security, the recently formed coalition government with the Social Democratic Prime Minister Frederiksen at the head is preparing Danish society for a totally different future with dramatically less security, welfare and democracy.

The latest reports from the government that they are preparing to deliver Danish F-16 fighters to Ukraine will certainly be regarded by the representatives of Russian imperialism as a further step towards direct war between NATO and Russia.

We are sending this small text as an unreserved declaration of support for the video conference on July 8, 2023. Only by standing together and by helping the peoples of Europe to find the way to unity against military and social war can we avoid the threat of a third world war, the consequences of which are unimaginable.
