Dear initiators of the European Conference Against War, July 8,

I wholeheartedly support your initiative and thank you for your efforts in this very difficult period, with warmongering rhetoric and actions on all levels.

In Sweden, the general support for the war, for the deliveries of arms and for the sanctions is combined with the process of affiliation to NATO, which I equally oppose.

The resistance here is unfortunately still weak, but I have translated and spread your appeal to numerous trade-unionists and anti-war contacts here in Sweden.

I will be happy to participate at the conference, on my personal capacity.
