Greeting messages from the USA to the European Conference

Message from Ann Wright, former US Army colonel and former US diplomat, organizer of the No to NATO, Yes to Peace summit, held in Washington in July, to the participants at the Berlin conference

On behalf of Palestinian Solidarity activist in the United States, we thank you in Europe, for organizing the very important conference concerning the Israeli genocide of Gaza!  We in the United States are trying desperately to stop our governments complicity in the Israeli genocide. However, we have had little success in stopping the flow of weapons to Israel, but we certainly will keep trying to stop them!

We are in the US Congress every day urging parliamentarians to end their complicity in the genocide through their votes for more weapons and money to Israel!

Stop the Genocide!

Ann Wright

Message from Massachusetts Peace Action

Greetings to your European Conference against the war in Ukraine and the genocide of the Palestinian People from the many of us in the United States struggling against the death wish of our political leaders. We stand at the precipice of disaster on a number of fronts. We surely hope you will find a path through this time of suffering, turmoil and growing militarism and return our countries to their senses by building on the sentiments of the world’s populations who desire peace.

Massachusetts Peace Action – USA wishes you every success in your meeting.

Message from Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) to the conference de Berlin

As members of the International Committee of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), we extend our full solidarity to the organizers and participants of the European Conference against the war and the genocide of the Palestinian people. We stand with you in the fight against imperialist wars, systemic violence, and the unchecked militarization of society. We believe that our struggle is shared, transcending national borders, and rooted in the fundamental need to challenge power structures that prioritize profit and military dominance over human dignity and the well-being of working people everywhere.

DSA remains committed to opposing imperialism in all its forms, and we condemn the relentless pursuit of wars that serve only the interests of ruling elites and defence contractors. From the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Palestine to military buildups across Europe, we recognize these as symptoms of a broader system that treats human lives as expendable in the pursuit of power and profit. The Conference’s call for an end to arms deliveries and for the redirection of resources toward social needs resonates strongly with our own mission in the United States.

We are inspired by the resistance taking place across Europe, from the recent mass mobilizations in London and France to grassroots movements rejecting NATO’s expansion and militarization. These actions underscore a global commitment to a just peace, challenging the policies of governments that escalate conflicts and drive us toward a war economy. The voices demanding peace in Palestine and Ukraine give life to a vision of a world where peace is prioritized over profit, and diplomacy over destruction.

The DSA International Committee pledges to support your efforts by continuing to fight for our shared message of anti-imperialism through our work in the U.S. as well as deepening collaboration across both of our continents to promote in shared actions to oppose war, defend democratic freedoms, and build a truly international movement for peace and justice. Together, let us continue to resist the machinery of war and fight for a world where every community is free from the shadow of imperialism.
